VALERIA CAMPELLO

Our fearless female leader, Valeria Campello, founded Cosabella over 30 years ago with her husband Ugo, after moving to Miami from Italy. Still reigning as our Senior Vice President Valeria inspires us each and every day as the classic "Cosabella Woman".

We recently sat down with Valeria for a Q & A on all things Cosabella.

WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO START YOUR OWN COMPANY?
When we moved to Miami, I had left my career in Italy but I missed working. Although I had two young kids and I was busy, I still felt the need to be back in the workforce.

WHAT IS YOUR PROUDEST MOMENT?
When my husband decided to abandon his (great and promising) engineering career to join me in this crazy risky adventure. Best decision ever!

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO WOMEN WHO WANT TO START THEIR BUSINESS?
Have a strong passion. No matter what the business is, there's going to be ups and downs, and moments when you want to give up. You must have passion because it's the only thing that will help you endure hard times and enjoy the great ones.

IN ONE WORD DESCRIBE YOURSELF.
Daring. I love challenges and I am open to new adventures. I give myself to reach any goal passionately, willfully and resiliently.

DESCRIBE THE "COSABELLA" WOMAN
Shes the kind of woman I think everybody should be in life: secure, outgoing, feminine.
